Deepal S05 Electric SUV Launched in Nepal at Rs 48.99 Lakh

August 15, 2025 – MAW Vriddhi has launched the Deepal S05, an all-electric compact SUV, in Nepal. The Plus variant is priced at Rs 48.99 lakh and the Max variant at Rs 54.99 lakh, slightly below standard pricing.

The S05 measures 4,620 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with 175 mm of ground clearance. It rides on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and has a drag coefficient of 0.258Cd, aiming for efficiency and stable performance. The SUV’s exterior features a shark-nose front, frameless doors with flush handles, star-feather LED taillights, an illuminated rear logo, and a panoramic 1.9 m² glass roof.

Inside, the cabin offers leatherette seats, 64-color ambient lighting, a 14-speaker Sky Surround Sound system, a 159-liter front trunk, heated and ventilated front seats, and a Queen Co-Pilot Seat with zero-gravity positioning and nap mode. A 14.4-inch touchscreen supports internet connectivity, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music, and live navigation. Owners can control AC, schedule charging, and locate the car via the Deepal app.

The SUV is powered by a 99 kW electric motor producing 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 56.1 kWh battery. It offers a WLTP range of 405 km and up to 470 km under NEDC. The rear-wheel-drive setup with a 50:50 weight distribution is designed to enhance handling.

Key features include segment-first Remote In & Out Parking, ADAS 2.0 with 19 safety functions, and an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display. The CATL Golden Shield Battery System 2.0 supports up to 5,000 cycles, fast charging from 30–80% in 15 minutes, and retains over 85% range at -20°C. A 6 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function allows powering external devices.

The Deepal S05 is available in Moonlight White, Ganymede Grey, Deep Space Black, Andromeda Blue, and Mercury Silver, with an orange-and-black leatherette interior.
