August 15, 2025 – CG | Motocorp, the official Suzuki distributor in Nepal, has displayed the all-electric Suzuki eVitara ahead of its public launch at the NADA Auto Show 2025. This marks Suzuki’s entry into Nepal’s electric SUV segment.
The eVitara will be offered in two battery options, though it is not yet confirmed which version will come to Nepal. One option pairs a 49 kWh battery with a front motor producing 144 hp and 189 Nm of torque. The second, more powerful setup uses a 61 kWh battery with 174 hp while retaining the same torque, giving an estimated real-world range of over 500 km (MIDC).
Suzuki may also offer an all-wheel-drive variant. This adds a 65 hp rear motor, increasing total output to 184 hp and 300 Nm of torque, enhancing performance for varied road conditions.
Inside, the eVitara features a twin-deck floating center console, ambient lighting, soft-touch materials, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, along with a premium Harman audio system. Seats are ventilated, with a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and a 40:20:40 split for rear seats.
The SUV prioritizes safety, with a body built from over 50% high-tensile steel, seven airbags, and Level 2 ADAS functions including lane assist and autonomous emergency braking. Additional features include all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake, a tire pressure monitoring system, and an emergency call system.
The eVitara measures 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, 1,640 mm in height, with a 2,700 mm wheelbase, placing it in the midsize SUV category. It will compete with models like the Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, and Mahindra BE 6 in Nepal’s growing electric SUV market.
