August 19, 2025 – Changan Nepal has launched the Lumin, a compact electric car, in Nepal at Rs 22.99 lakh. Designed for city driving, the Lumin offers practical features for daily commuting.
It is powered by a 35 kW motor producing 83 Nm of torque, paired with a 28.08 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. The NEDC-certified range is 301 km per charge, and DC fast charging can recharge the battery in around 35 minutes.

Inside, the Lumin has a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, 7-inch LCD display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, keyless entry, push-button start, foldable 50:50 rear seats, Bluetooth, and multifunction steering. Safety features include front airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, HHC, rear camera, and rear parking sensors.
The car measures 3,270 mm long, 1,700 mm wide, 1,590 mm tall, with a 1,980 mm wheelbase and 925 kg kerb weight. It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels and comes in five exterior colors.
