August 19, 2025 – Juneyao Auto has officially entered Nepal’s EV market with its JY Air premium electric sedan, distributed locally by LRR Motors.
The JY Air is available in two variants. The Ultra is priced at Rs 63.99 lakh (discounted from Rs 68 lakh) and the Lite at Rs 49.99 lakh (down from Rs 54 lakh).
The Ultra comes with a 64 kWh battery and a 99 kW motor producing 250 Nm of torque. It supports DC fast charging from 30–80% in 21 minutes and full AC charging in 6.5 hours, offering a WLTC range of 440 km. Key features include V2L capability, 360° camera, cruise control, ABS, EBD, TCS, ESC, TPMS, seven airbags, 19-inch alloy wheels, electric tailgate, L2 ADAS, 15.6-inch rotary touchscreen, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, and a panoramic sunroof.
The Lite has a 51 kWh battery with the same motor, delivering a WLTC range of 355 km. DC fast charging takes 30 minutes from 30–80%, and AC full charging takes 5.3 hours. Standard features include V2L, 360° camera, cruise control, ABS, EBD, TCS, ESC, TPMS, electric tailgate, L2 ADAS, 17-inch alloy wheels, and 15.6-inch touchscreen.
Both variants measure 4,550 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 1,515 mm in height, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase and 172 mm ground clearance.
