August 19, 2025 – Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated Super Splendor 125cc at the NADA Auto Show 2025 in Kathmandu, priced at Rs 2,66,900.
The motorcycle is powered by a 124.7cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke single-cylinder OHC engine delivering 9 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.35 Nm torque at 4,000 rpm. It uses a 4-speed multi-plate wet clutch transmission and offers both self-start and kick-start options.
Built on a tubular double cradle frame, the bike has telescopic hydraulic front forks and 5-step adjustable rear shocks. Braking comes from drum brakes front and rear, with 18-inch tires (80/100 front and rear).
Dimensions include 1,996 mm length, 720 mm width, 1,088 mm height, a 1,267 mm wheelbase, 785 mm seat height, and 160 mm ground clearance. The kerb weight is 123 kg, and fuel tank capacity is 13 liters.
The Super Splendor 125cc combines reliability, comfort, and practicality, making it a solid option in Nepal’s commuter motorcycle segment.
