August 19, 2025 – The Jinpeng Lingbox EC01, a compact electric hatchback, has officially entered the Nepali market. Two variants are available: the base variant at Rs 19.99 lakh (Rs 18.99 lakh during the NADA Auto Show) and the premium variant at Rs 24.99 lakh (Rs 23.49 lakh during the show).
The EC01 measures 3,584 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width, 1,666 mm in height, with a 2,455 mm wheelbase. It seats four passengers and offers a 293-liter boot, with 200 mm ground clearance.
It is powered by a 35 kW motor generating 105 Nm torque, paired with a front-wheel-drive layout and a 19.2 kWh LFP battery supporting DC fast charging. The hatchback reaches a top speed of 101 km/h. Driving range varies by variant: the base model delivers 240 km per charge (NEDC), while the premium model offers 340 km.
