August 6, 2025 – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has launched its next-generation electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, in Nepal during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo. Prices start at Rs 57 lakh for the BE 6 and Rs 69 lakh for the XEV 9e, with bookings now open through Mahindra’s official distributor, the Agni Group.
Both SUVs are built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform and use the MAIA electric intelligence system. The BE 6 offers a certified range of 557 km, while the XEV 9e can travel up to 656 km on a full charge, powered by a 79 kWh high-performance LFP battery.
The BE 6 will be offered in three trims—Pack One Above, Pack Two, and Pack Three Select—while the XEV 9e comes in Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three. Most variants use a 99 kW electric motor, with the XEV 9e Pack Three delivering 199 kW for more powerful performance.
Both vehicles showcase Mahindra’s Heartcore design philosophy. The BE 6 has a sporty, performance-oriented look, while the XEV 9e features a refined SUV-coupé style. Cabins are tech-rich: the BE 6 offers a race-inspired digital cockpit, and the XEV 9e has a triple-screen cinematic display. Additional features include the VisionX AR heads-up display, Harman Kardon sound system, and LiveYourMood presets for ambient lighting, sound, and climate.
Safety and driver-assist systems are advanced. The BE 6 comes with ADAS Level 2, while the XEV 9e offers ADAS Level 2+ along with 360° surveillance and the EyeDentity driver monitoring system. Both SUVs are designed for comfort, performance, and peace of mind on urban and long-distance journeys.
According to Mahindra officials, the launch reflects the growing interest in electric mobility in Nepal, combining performance, design, and intelligent features in a package aimed at modern buyers.
