August 19, 2025 – BYD has introduced the Atto 2, a compact electric SUV, in Nepal at Rs 43.99 lakh. Positioned between the Dolphin and Atto 3, it targets buyers looking for a mid-sized EV.
The Atto 2 comes with a 100 kW motor generating 290 Nm of torque, paired with a 51.13 kWh battery offering a WLTP range of up to 345 km per charge. It measures 4,310 mm long, 1,830 mm wide, and 1,675 mm tall, with 200 mm ground clearance. The SUV provides up to 1,430 liters of boot space when the rear seats are folded.

Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, the Atto 2 is the first compact BYD model with Cell-to-Body (CTB) battery integration, improving safety, rigidity, and weight distribution. Safety features include six airbags and BYD’s electronic safety systems.
This launch expands BYD’s EV portfolio in Nepal, joining the Atto 1 and Atto 3, and strengthens the compact electric SUV segment in the country.
